We just got back from Acquire the Fire this Friday and Saturday at the Glendale Arena.  That was something hot.  42 of the LifeBlood youth and leaders spent the last 48 hours at life altering encounter.  It was like this…

 ATF is a two day event put on by Teen Mania youth ministries nearly every weekend throughout the United States.  Our Acquire the Fire event was held at the Glendale Arena where there were many broken-down sessions filled with dramatic arts, music, times of worship and guest speakers.  It was incredibly relevant to the emerging culture of today!  Every moment was filled with intense impact as well as enjoyment. 

Highlights of our experience were continuous skits performed throughout the event, incredible environments of worship and speakers that compelled us to be devoted disciples carrying the life altering message of Jesus.  I can say that I am more aware of Christ’s personal impact on my life today and am compelled to share the same opportunities I have received with others.  How could I not?  It is impossible to accept the absolute truth of God and go unchanged.  And that’s the beauty of such a person like Jesus… he is the Son of God and mighty to save our destructed lives.  That is the truth of our lives after connecting with God this weekend.  Thank you Acquire the Fire for setting up the encounter.  We’ll see you again at future event.
